We had a great experience with AG. We had a new walkway/patio installed in front and on the side of our house. Very happy with it and would recommend their services. They showed up and did a great job.
I chose AWG for some concrete work on the recommendation of another contractor. Scheduling the work online was easy and the communication was great. The crew started early, worked all day, and they were quiet and friendly. They also took care of getting the required permit. Thanks to Johan and the crew for a great job!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Custom Exterior Work and Communication AWG Builds and Renovations transformed the exterior of my property through several carefully planned, high-quality projects. The finished work feels cohesive, polished, and thoughtfully designed rather than pieced together. From the craftsmanship and attention to detail to the consistent communication, I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. The work included a custom concrete walkway, a fully custom cobblestone driveway, and multiple retaining walls designed to complement the property. The retaining walls incorporated custom lighting, professionally planned drainage systems, boulders, and stone river rocks. These details added texture and character while creating a natural, finished appearance. The lighting gives the property a completely different look at night, while the drainage systems help manage water around the hardscape and landscaping. Another standout project was a separate custom paver driveway built specifically for my 2026 Cadillac Escalade. It includes integrated lighting and a dedicated drainage system, and the paver work looks impressive both day and night. The concrete, cobblestone, pavers, retaining walls, landscaping elements, lighting, and drainage were all planned to work together, giving the exterior a more unified and finished appearance. I especially appreciated working directly with Johan, the owner. He was accessible, responsive, and consistently kept me informed throughout the process. That communication made it easier to understand the work as it progressed and gave me confidence that the details were being handled carefully. The completed projects have significantly improved the exterior of my home, adding both visual appeal and practical features such as improved drainage and integrated lighting. My neighbors have commented on how well everything turned out, and I understand why—the workmanship and overall finish are easy to appreciate. I highly recommend AWG Builds and Renovations, especially Johan, for custom exterior work. Five stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We got estimates from 6 different companies in the area. Of all the contractors we met, Johan impressed us as the most knowledgeable, honest, and responsive! His team of workers were friendly, respectful, and hard working. We could not be happier with our beautiful stamped concrete patio! Do your own research, but I bet you’ll find Johan to be at the top of your list!
I couldn’t be happier with the work AWG Builds & Renovations did on our concrete patio. From the first estimate to the final cleanup, the entire process was professional and stress-free. Johann and his crew are super! We had a 20’x30’ paver patio with a concrete slab for a hot tub and concrete piers for a pergola. They were always here when they said they would be and their attention to detail is great. We are planning on them doing a stamped concrete walkway next. We would highly recommend AWG!
Johan, Freddy and their crew did a phenomenal job on our front porch /walkway and back porch. These guys are workers! They came early and worked all day. They did in 3 days what should have taken a week to do. They all had great attention to detail and there finishing work was beautiful. They were very respectful of us and our property. Always making sure it was all cleaned up at the end of a work day. Everybody on the crew was really nice and communicated every step of the way. My thanks to Johann and the entire team at AWG Builds. From start to finish, they did an exceptional job replacing our retaining wall. Their professionalism was evident throughout the entire project—from the initial consultation to the final walkthrough. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and thoroughly cleaned up the site after the project was completed. If you're looking for a contractor who delivers outstanding quality and exceptional customer service, I highly recommend Johann and AWG Builds!
My wife and I recommend AWG without any reservations. They replaced our 30 year old brick patio with beautiful two-tone concrete pavers. We wanted the original kidney shaped design reproduced and they did it very meticulously Johan’s crew worked with us patiently and very professionaly. The result was magnificent.
I couldn’t be happier with my new parking pad. Johan and his crew were quick, efficient and their work is excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.
The guys were awesome! They completed the work as promised and exceeded expectations. Everyone was friendly and easy to work with. They really know what they’re doing. They repurposed some of my old stone and made it look brand new!
10/10 experience. Crew worked efficiently and effectively. Owner Johan, came out and gave a very detailed yet quick estimate. Very happy with the outcome of the project. Recommend everyone work with AWG.
Hi, I had 3 different concrete companies come out and do estimates. We went with AWG, not only because of a reasonable price, but because Johan came to us with some great ideas. My wife and I were initially looking for a plain small 10x10 patio for a new hot tub, but then started throwing around ideas to make the backyard look a bit nicer with less maintenance. After working with Johan and his team at AWG, we came up with a vision for a small backyard oasis. So, we worked together to turn our "plain" concrete patio into a 20' x 30' beautiful stamped "slate" patio with a built in fire pit, as well as some beautiful river rock and a stone walkway to finish it off! We're more than excited and happy about the "backyard oasis" that AWG built for us!!
AWG did a beautiful job! I hired AWG to do a cleanup of poison ivy, weeding, mulching and edging and they went above and beyond for my mom, they have a great worth ethic, and kind demeanor. I highly recommend AWG to anyone!
AWG Builds & Renovations LLC did an excellent job from start to finish. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented, with quality workmanship and great communication throughout the project. Highly recommended!

AWG repaired a portion of a concrete walkway for me. They came out for the quote and job very quickly even though it was a small job and I was happy how it came out.
Johan and his team were amazing from start to finish. I did a 622 square foot stamped concrete patio. Johan is an exceptional communicator and very professional. Johan and his team exceeded our expectations.
Very easy to do business with and a pleasure to work with. They did a great job and were very attentive to leave the work area in great shape when done. Thank you!
AWG Construction and Renovation completely transformed our front and back yards—5 stars without hesitation. In the backyard, Johan and his crew replaced two failing retaining walls with beautifully designed hardscaping that included curved walls and steps—executed with incredible precision. They also removed an old patio and installed a stunning stamped concrete patio, added proper drainage to move water away from the house, and finished the space with a gorgeous accent wall. In the front yard, they built a new retaining wall to address a steep slope. The craftsmanship—especially the clean, flowing curves—truly sets their work apart. Johan provided thoughtful design input throughout the project, which made a big difference in the final outcome. His team was professional, detail-oriented, and clearly takes pride in their work. The project was completed on schedule, pricing was fair and transparent, and communication was clear from start to finish. If you’re looking for high-quality hardscaping and landscaping, I highly recommend AWG Construction and Renovation
We hired AWG Builds and Renovations for a stamped concrete patio and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The quality of the work is outstanding. The finish and detail truly exceeded our expectations. Johan was easy to communicate with from the very first point of contact through completion. Pricing was straightforward, and he gave great guidance and suggestions on what would look best for our space, which made decision-making a lot easier. We also asked (on very short notice) if they could add a slab for our shed, and they made it happen without any issues. That kind of flexibility is hard to find. The crew was professional, respectful, and kept everything clean throughout the process. Overall, it was a smooth, stress-free experience from start to finish. I would absolutely recommend AWG Builds and Renovations to anyone looking for high-quality concrete work.
Johan and his crew were very professional and did a great job on a small concrete pour for us. The work was done very well, quickly, and at a good, fair price. We got exactly what we wanted.
